You’re killing it.

Maybe you are on a path to opening your own business — or maybe you are already slaying the entrepreneur game. Either way, I have to give you a big round of applause for working to turn your dreams into a reality.

The thing is… men still outnumber women 3-1 when it comes to business ownership. But this is why I’m so proud of you. Let’s turn those numbers around together and help unleash the hidden potential that women all over the world have to offer.

So why not look for a little inspiration, absorb it, and share it with others? I’ve got 5 fabulous books that are great for the modern female entrepreneur.

You Are A Badass

By Jen Sincero

Before I dive into this amazing book — I have to point out that this is one of several incredible books by this author.

The one you should start with is “How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life”. Once you’ve absorbed this greatness, you’ll most certainly want to jump right into the other ones.

Jen is a bestselling author, motivational speaker, and success coach. She’s the true story of rags to riches after a mindset switch and facing fears to get where she wanted to be.

“You Are A Badass” is all about the same kind of mindset changes Jen made in her life and how to go after your goals. It’s all in the title. This book is meant to inspire you to push past fears and believe that you are capable of greatness.

Definitely worth the read!

Girl Code

By Cara Alwill Leyba

This book is really great for teaching us why we should be celebrating other successful women. It’s a tough world out there — so what better thing to encourage?

I really rally around the messages in this book because I think, as women, we try to take on everything. Having a network, being inspired by others, and lifting each other up is so important.

This book is filled with great success stories, how to improve your mindset, and how to muster the courage to go after your goals.

Cara talks about her own journey and the journey of so many other women from all walks of life. The message really falls on normal people becoming the hero dragon slayer that creates an army versus trying to reach the castle all by themselves.

Everything Is Figureoutable

By Marie Forleo

First and foremost — This woman is a rockstar. TV and YouTube star, Podcaster, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist. She’s all about lifting up other women to be their own success story.

I mean, anyone endorsed by Oprah has got to be good right?

Sometimes ideas are so big that they can be a bit overwhelming (which I think we can all relate to feeling from time to time). The idea behind her book is to help women break down these ideas into easy, doable steps and approaches.

She wants to share that with the right mindset, understanding how to ride the ups and downs, and laying out a plan of progress over perfection — we all are capable of big things.

I think all of us could benefit from that kind of positivity!

She Means Business

By Carrie Green

Think of yourself at the age of 20. What did that look like for you? Carrie started a business at that age.

So. Stinking. Cool.

The other really awesome thing is that she wanted to share as much as she could about her journey in hopes that she could help and inspire others.

Her book is advice for new entrepreneurs taking on the business world in today's very digital age. On top of some helpful tips and real conversations about what it takes to be successful, she highlights success stories and even provides exercises to get started.

Informational AND hands on… this is a good one!

Ready to give them a go?

Escape to a little corner of your house with a blanket and cup of tea and settle in. Or maybe you like to throw on an audiobook as you crush it at the gym or office?

Either way — remember that every good entrepreneur takes moments for themselves, too. You deserve a little alone time. These four books are just some of many great reads to add to that time.

What better way to help motivate, inspire, and drive you to success than a good book?
