Many of Beachbody’s exercise routines are geared toward weight loss while gaining strength and muscle. The Master’s Hammer and Chisel Workout is one of the more extreme programs offered. Following this 60-day program will put you on your way to a shredded physique.

That last part shouldn’t surprise you; with a name like hammer and chisel,” it seems pretty apparent that you are going to be sculpting and shaping your muscles. The key to this program is that it incorporates more weights, which make the exercises more effective, in turn producing maximum results.

Two of Beachbody’s top trainers team up for this ultimate sculpting workout. Sagi Kalev (of Body Beast) and Autumn Calabrese (21 Day Fix and 80-Day Obsession) are both known for their physiques. In Hammer and Chisel, they teach you some of their prize-winning moves that will help you get ripped.

For this program, Sagiacts as the hammer. His workouts will focus on strength and power, while Autumn (as the chisel) concentrates on sculpting and balance. The mixed workouts are designed so that you are continually working your entire body.

The Hammer and Chisel Program

This workout is aneight-week program that consists of six days of exercise and one day of rest. Because of the intensity of the program, it is essential to pick the day that you want as your day of rest and then work backward. For example, if you want it to be Saturday, make Sunday your Day 1. Don’t just start on a Monday and skip; you won’t see results.

There are 15 different workouts (19 if you choose the Deluxe package), which means that you won’t see a lot of repetitive daily exercises. This will help keep your mind focused, which helps you build stamina. Each of the workouts varies in length between the 10 Minute Ab Chisel and Total Body Hammer, which is approximately 44 minutes long. The workouts are generally between 35-45 minutes long.

When it comes to portion control and container usage, you get the usual nutritional guide. But it’s also recommended that you use the tally sheets that come with the Hammer and Chisel Workout Program.

Keep in mind; this is a 60-day program, evenly balanced between Hammer and Chisel. It is also possible to do 30 days of Hammer and 30 days of Chisel on your own. If you separate them, you won’t get the benefits of the full program in its intended form. But it is an option if you wanted to concentrate on one or the other after you complete the 60 days.
