Probiotics Vs. Prebiotics

Aside from probiotics, there are also prebiotics to aid in gut health. Prebiotics are a type of fiber that act as food for bacteria within the gut. Prebiotics support good bacteria, which make for a healthy gut. You can find them in high-fiber foods, like: chicory root, garlic, onions, leeks, asparagus, bananas, barley, oats, apples, cocoa, flaxseed, seaweed, and wheat bran.

Some of these foods might already be a part of your diet! If not, start adding them to your meals. This will help heal your gut and make for healthy skin.
